AGENDA DATE: May 19, 2020
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for June 2, 2020 at 2pm to
consider an irrigation franchise with Brett Gibb on Cleman Road
BACKGROUND: Brett Gibb has applied for an irrigation franchise to replace an
existing irrigation pipe that has failed due to age. The proposed
franchise is to install a 12" irrigation pipe on Cleman Road.
The Franchise Application is complete and the appropriate
application fee has been collected.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Set a public hearing on June 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm and advertise
accordingly, to consider an irrigation franchise with Brett Gibb on
Cleman Road.

Pursuant to KCC 15A.03.040, upon receipt of the application, Kittitas County Public Works will
contact the applicant to schedule a meeting with the Director of Public Works and/or the County
Engineer to discuss terns and conditions of franchise agreement and schedule a Public Hearing for
consideration of the franchise agreement by the Board of County Commissioner's.
