ACTION REQUESTED:
Request to amend 2019-2020 Professional Services Agreement with Kristi Hunziker for Special Sex Offender Disposition Alternative (SSODA) treatment services due to COVID-19 health crisis.
BACKGROUND:
On September 3, 2019 the Board of County Commissioner’s approved a Professional Services Agreement with Kristi Hunziker to provide SSODA treatment services to youth under the Disposition
Alternative.
On April 7, 2020 the Board of County Commissioner’s approved an amended resolution to the contract to adjust services based on the current health crisis.
INTERACTION:
Ms. Hunziker submitted a second request to reverse her reduction of fees due to the COVID-19 health crisis. Ms. Hunziker prepared a notice to this office indicating that based on the
success of telecommuting a reduction of her fees is neither prudent nor necessary.
Resolution document reviewed and approved as to form by County legal advisor. Presiding Judge of Kittitas County Superior Court reviewed and signed agreement.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Resolution to amend the 2019-2020 Professional Services Agreement for Special Sex Offender Disposition Alternative (SSODA) treatment services due to COVID-19 health crisis.
HANDLING:
Request 1 copy with signatures to Katrina Mankus and 1 copy of the fully executed document to the BoCC for County Records.

Attached is one original of the professional services agreement.
