COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:00 A.M. MAY 11, 2020
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; and Via Webex:
Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; and Via Webex: Taylor
Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; and Mandy Buchholz, Deputy
Clerk of the Board II.
REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration
meeting.
CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar.
PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners approved the County Vouchers and
PAF’s.
CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS
There was no Correspondence Log to review for the week ending May 8,
2020.
LETTER BOCC/GOVERNOR INSLEE COMMISSIONERS
This item was continued for consideration until 10:00 a.m. Friday
May 15, 2020.
LETTER COALITION/GOVERNOR INSLEE COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wright moved to approve signing on a letter with other
Counties to Governor Jay Inslee, allowing local control with the
support that the State can provide in response to COVID-19.
Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
UPDATES COVID-19 COMMISSIONERS
There were brief updates provided by the Board of County
Commissioners relating to COVID-19.

DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS
The Board determined for the week of May 11, 2020 that they would
share on their Facebook page any Press Releases from Public Health
and other information relating to COVID-19, as well as information
relating to recreation availabilities on State and Federal lands.
They also agreed to posting a video of some of the accomplishments
and activities that are going on out at the Bowers Field Airport.
OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES
Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying
topics and discussions they independently had throughout the
previous week.
Meeting adjourned at 9:25 a.m.
