COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 1:00 P.M. MAY 17, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz, Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, Public
Works Director; Lucas Huck, Engineer; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor;
Peter Dykstra, Appointed - Special Deputy Prosecutor (by phone) and Bill
Clarke, Appointed - Special Deputy Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 1:02 p.m. Chairman Paul Jewell opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 15
minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of
real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding
such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price.
Potential action was anticipated.
At 1:17 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
At 1:17 p.m. Chairman Jewell announced the Board would recess back
into Executive Session for 10 minutes to consider the selection of a
site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when
public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a
likelihood of increased price. No action was anticipated.
At 1:27 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
AGREEMENT WATER RIGHTS PUBLIC LANDS COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to authorize Chair Signature on an
Agreement for Transfer of Water Rights between Trust for Public
Lands and Kittitas County on May 17, 2017. Commissioner O’Brien
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
Meeting adjourned at 1:27 p.m.
