Law & Justice Study Session Minutes <br />May 3, 2017 <br />Commissioners Auditorium <br />Meeting called to order at 0800 a.m. <br />Present: Commissioners Paul Jewell, Obie O'Brien, Laura Osiadacz, Undersheriff Myers, Budget & Finance <br />Manager Judy Pless, Solid Waste Director Patti Johnson, Liz Whitaker and Julie Karns with Public Health. <br />Discuss with Public Health on syringe exchange — Public Health questions regarding ways to limit law <br />enforcement interaction with participants in program. Undersheriff Myers provided Law Enforcement's <br />legal obligations regarding warranty. <br />Action taken — none <br />Other Business -Security System budget —Patti Johnson and Undersheriff Myers discussed options for <br />which agency/department should budget for system (Camtek) and security related items/programs and <br />equipment. <br />Action taken —Directed staff (Patti Johnson, Undersheriff Myers and Judy Pless) to provide proposals. <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:46 a.m. <br />r, <br />Clayton Myers, Undersheriff <br />Paul Jewell, Chairman <br />
