MISCELLANEOUS Commissioner Jewell brought up issues relating to roads in the Hyak area, specifically snow removal and with the difficulty they’ve been seeing over the past several years, it looks as though it will get worse with more people living in the area full time instead of vacation homes. The Board instructed Staff to bring the topic to the next Public Works Department Study Session with what options are available which may require a more extensive research with what the problems are and possible solutions. Director Mark Cook said he appreciated the Board bringing up the issue as it’s getting extremely expensive in the area to maintain snow removal and the complaints about vehicle speeds during the summer.
