4/16/2018 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 10:00 A.M. APRIL 16, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson, <br />Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager <br />presented the Board with Change Order #1 between Kittitas County and <br />Rivers Edge Environmental Services in the amount of $10,317.00. She <br />stated that this was for the Asbestos removal at 809 Maple Street <br />and the additional Site Restoration, noting that it doesn’t include <br />sales tax. She stated that she went back after last week’s meeting <br />with the Board and negotiated this for their consideration. <br /> <br />CHANGE ORDER RIVERS EDGE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize Chair signature on Change <br />Order #1 between Kittitas County and Rivers Edge Environmental <br />Services for the additional time and materials to install much <br />instead of straw in the areas where the trailers were removed, and <br />to remove the asbestos ceiling in the house at 809 Maple Street, <br />noting that the new contract amount is $110,317.00, not including <br />tax. Commissioner O’Brien second.
