COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. APRIL 9, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson,
Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SOLID WASTE
Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director presented the Board with a
proposal from Rivers Edge Environmental Services, Inc., which was
adding to their current Agreement for work being done at Shady Brook
Mobile Home Park. She stated that the additional services were for
the additional manufactured homes being removed #3 & #44 as well as
mulching and the home at 809 Maple Street for asbestos removal. She
stated that the price is $37,193.80.
The Board directed Ms. Johnson to go back and see if she can further
negotiate the price.
Commissioner O’Brien questioned what guidance she had received from
the Prosecutors Office. Ms. Johnson stated she was to proceed if the
Board gave their approval. Chairman Osiadacz stated she would like
mobile homes #3 & #44 boarded up so they don’t have to have that
outstanding risk of any trespassers.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
