4/09/2018 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:50 A.M. APRIL 9, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson, <br />Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director presented the Board with a <br />proposal from Rivers Edge Environmental Services, Inc., which was <br />adding to their current Agreement for work being done at Shady Brook <br />Mobile Home Park. She stated that the additional services were for <br />the additional manufactured homes being removed #3 & #44 as well as <br />mulching and the home at 809 Maple Street for asbestos removal. She <br />stated that the price is $37,193.80. <br /> <br />The Board directed Ms. Johnson to go back and see if she can further <br />negotiate the price. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien questioned what guidance she had received from <br />the Prosecutors Office. Ms. Johnson stated she was to proceed if the <br />Board gave their approval.
