COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. MAY 7, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien. Excused: Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II & Dan Carlson,
CDS Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD CDS
Dan Carlson, CDS Director wanted to the let the Board know that they
Planning Commission will be holding their Public Hearing on
5/22/2018. He is planning to bring forward a request for the Board
to consider on the 5/15/18 Agenda to set a BoCC Public Hearing for
6-25-2018 at which time he would like the Board to consider the
following as he feels it will allow them to accomplish more within
the Hearing if need be: Consider regulations and consider extending
the solar moratorium. He stated that if that language is included in
the notice it should cover them well for however the hearing goes
and allow them to accomplish whatever is needed. He also stated that
with it being towards the end of the time with Commissioner Jewell
it will still allow them time to continue the meeting if need be and
have a full Board to participate in the Hearing.
Commissioner O’Brien and Chairman Osiadacz thanked Mr. Carlson for
the update.
Meeting adjourned at 9:44 a.m.
