COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 1:30 P.M. MAY 22, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Vice-Chair Obie
O’Brien. Excused: Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Kasey
Knutson, Health Promotion Supervisor/DD Coordinator; Robin Read,
Public Health Administrator; Terry Archer, Yakima Specialties, Inc.;
Tom Gaulke, Chief Executive Officer EnTrust; Ariana Rhodes, EnTrust;
Dayna Stuart, EnTrust.
SPECIAL MEETING DD UPDATE COMMISSIONERS
At 1:32 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting with County
Staff to receive the County DD quarterly update.
The Board received a presentation from Entrust, where they presented
an outline of the services they provide and any changes to their
program since their last update to the Board.
Kasey Knutson, Health Promotion Supervisor/DD Coordinator gave
updates on the Community Summit scheduled in Wenatchee on June 12-
14, 2018. She said the County received a single stipend to send
individuals; Pivotal is slated to provide a presentation at the
“High School and Beyond Educational Fair” that is slated for
5/24/2018; KCPHD sent out an RFQ for providers for day services and
employment programs; 6/30 funds deadline has been addressed, funds
will be spent on the Community Summit stipends, on a contract with
WISE to provide job development and marketing training to providers,
along with paid media to advertise the event on May 24, 2018; DDA
will change upcoming contract language.
