05/15/2018 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />TUESDAY 9:00 A.M. MAY 15, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson, <br />Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager; Neil Caulkins, <br />Deputy Prosecutor. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:02 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting and <br />announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 30 <br />minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of <br />real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding <br />such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. No <br />action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 9:32 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No <br />action taken. <br /> <br />At 9:32 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess back <br />into Executive Session for 5 minutes to consider the selection of a <br />site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when <br />public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a <br />likelihood of increased price. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 9:37 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize Deputy Prosecutor Neil <br />Caulkins to begin the negation process and acknowledge that he and <br />Ms. Johnson would be the leads for the County on the project. <br />Commissioner O’Brien seconded.
