FINANCE STUDY SESSION MINUTES

Regular Meeting
WEDNESDAY 1:00 PM August 29, 2018
Board members present: Commissioner Chairman, Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner Obie
O’Brien and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Jerry Pettit, County Auditor, Kay Kresge, Fiscal Analyst and Judy Pless, Budget and
Finance Manager
The meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm.
CERTIFICATION OF 2017 CAPITAL ASSETS
Kay Kresge presented to the Board the 2017 Capital assets in the amount of $244,924,065.
Commissioner O'Brien made the motion to approve the 2017 Capital Assets and to sign the
certification to the Co Auditor, Commissioner Wright seconded, motion approved.
2017 COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT
Judy Pless presented the board the 2017 government wide financial reports, with the funds
combining statements. Discussion occurred regarding the possible payoff of the $1,093,084.92
General fund interfund loan to Solid Waste. It was recommended a Resolution be prepared for
board action to process the payment of the loan.
OTHER BUSINESS
The Board approved the payment of vouchers, check number 810330572 in the amount of
34,321.70
