COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. MARCH 4, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chair Brett
Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Dan Carlson,
CDS Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD CDS
Dan Carlson, CDS Director requested the Boards direction on the
Census Boundary Survey and Complete Count Committee. He reviewed the
pros and cons of both but explained that the Boundary Survey is
optional and will take a lot of Staff time. He stated he is not sure
there is a benefit and feels it’s geared more towards the City. He
stated that it is however beneficial for the County to participate
in the Complete Count Committee but it’s also a lot of work.
The Board opted to not participate in the Census Boundary Survey but
to further discuss the Complete Count Committee and what that
Committee make up, would look like at Mr. Carlson’s next Study
Session.
Meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m.
