COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 8:30 A.M. FEBRUARY 21, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Chris Horner,
Deputy Prosecutor; Gene Dana, Sheriff; Clay Myers, Undersheriff.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 8:33 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting and announced
the Board would recess into Executive Session for 10 minutes to
discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating
to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel
representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which
the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official
capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge
regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or
financial consequence to the agency. Possible action anticipated.
At 8:43 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
CLAIM ROLANDO MARMOLEJO SHERIFF
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approved payment not to exceed
$1,000.00 for a Claim for Damages filed by Rolando Marmolejo with
the Kittitas County Auditor’s Office on February 12, 2019, as
recommended by the County Sheriff & Prosecutors office, conditioned
upon a Release of all Claims from Mr. Marmolejo. Commissioner
Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:43 a.m.
