Commissioners Auditorium
Meeting called to order at 0815 a.m.
Present: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz, Undersheriff Myers and HR Director Lisa Young.
Control Room Operator discussion — Undersheriff Myers indicated that the Control Room Operators are
civilian positions hired out of the tax revenue, not general fund. The 12 hour shifts are all on overtime, but
the Control Room Operators.
I spoke with Judy regarding the funding and she said the 1/1 Otis jail pod has the funds for this. Commissioner
Osiadacz mentioned that if funded out of 1/10, then I don't see and issue. Lisa mentioned that she will add
this to her HR study session next week.
Other business — Commissioner Osiadacz asked how the Emergency Management Training process is
coming along with Commander Higashiyama. Undersheriff Myers will follow up with him and then give the
board an update.
