COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 3:30 P.M. FEBRUARY 4, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright (by phone); Vice-
Chairman Brett Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR
Director; Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator & Chris Horner,
Deputy Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 3:30 p.m. Vice-Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would
recess into Executive Session for 15 minutes with Chris Horner,
Deputy Prosecutor; Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator; & Lisa
Young, HR Director to receive and evaluate complaints or charges
brought against a public officer or employee. However, upon the
request of such officer or employee, a public hearing or a meeting
open to the public shall be conducted upon such complaint or charge.
No action was anticipated.
At 3:45 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
At 3:45 p.m. Vice-Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would
recess back into Executive Session for 5 minutes to receive and
evaluate complaints or charges brought against a public officer or
employee. However, upon the request of such officer or employee, a
public hearing or a meeting open to the public shall be conducted
upon such complaint or charge. Possible action was anticipated.
At 3:50 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
Direction was given to Staff to place employee on paid
administrative leave pending an investigation, noting that the HR
Director will report back during her HR Study Session on February
12, 2019.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:50 p.m.
