JANUARY 28, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright & Commissioner Laura <br />Osiadacz. Absent: Vice-Chairman Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, Public <br />Works Director/Interim County Engineer; Candie Leader, Admin Assistant <br />and 18 members of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING AIRPORT BUSINESS OVERVIEW COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 3:30 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to receive a <br />presentation from John Dobson, President of the Washington Pilots <br />Association. <br /> <br />Mr. Dobson, gave an overview of his background & reviewed a Power Point <br />presentation covering the following areas: Building Airport Economic <br />Security; Real Estate & Property Development; Airport Investment <br />Studies; and an overview on the highlights of the Report drafted by <br />Nettey & Associates Aviation Education & Training Services Re: Flight <br />Plan to Success II: A Strategic Review of Central Washington <br />University’s Flight Training Program (report provided by CWU). <br /> <br />There was open Q&A from users of the airport and the Board thanked <br />everyone for coming. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 4:53 p.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Chairman
