COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM
SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 3:30 P.M. JANUARY 28, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright & Commissioner Laura
Osiadacz. Absent: Vice-Chairman Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, Public
Works Director/Interim County Engineer; Candie Leader, Admin Assistant
and 18 members of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING AIRPORT BUSINESS OVERVIEW COMMISSIONERS
At 3:30 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to receive a
presentation from John Dobson, President of the Washington Pilots
Association.
Mr. Dobson, gave an overview of his background & reviewed a Power Point
presentation covering the following areas: Building Airport Economic
Security; Real Estate & Property Development; Airport Investment
Studies; and an overview on the highlights of the Report drafted by
Nettey & Associates Aviation Education & Training Services Re: Flight
Plan to Success II: A Strategic Review of Central Washington
University’s Flight Training Program (report provided by CWU).
There was open Q&A from users of the airport and the Board thanked
everyone for coming.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:53 p.m.
