JANUARY 28, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR <br />Director/Interim Event Center Director; Clay Myers, Undersheriff and <br />Chris Horner, Deputy Prosecutor. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> <br />At 9:41 a.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess into <br />an Executive Session with Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim Event <br />Center Director and Deputy Prosecutor Chris Horner for 5 minutes per <br />RCW 42.30.140 to consider Collective bargaining sessions with <br />employee organizations, including contract negotiations, grievance <br />meetings, and discussions relating to the interpretation or <br />application of a labor agreement; or (b) that portion of a meeting <br />during which the governing body is planning or adopting the strategy <br />or position to be taken by the governing body during the course of <br />any collective bargaining, professional negotiations, or grievance <br />or mediation proceedings, or reviewing the proposals made in the <br />negotiations or proceedings while in progress. No action was <br />anticipated. <br /> <br />At 9:46 a.m. the Board recessed out of Executive Session. No action <br />was taken. <br /> <br />*Brief break allowing DPA Horner to leave and Undersheriff Myers to <br />enter. <br /> <br />At 9:48 a.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess back <br />into Executive Session with Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim Event <br />Center Director and Undersheriff Clay Myers for 5 minutes per RCW <br />42.30.140 to consider Collective bargaining sessions with employee <br />organizations, including contract negotiations, grievance meetings, <br />and discussions relating to the interpretation or application of a <br />labor agreement; or (b) that portion of a meeting during which the <br />governing body is planning or adopting the strategy or position to <br />be taken by the governing body during the course of any collective <br />bargaining, professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation
