COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 1:30 P.M. JANUARY 24, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright & Commissioner Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Vice-Chairman Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II.
SPECIAL MEETING 2019 LEGISLATIVE DIRECTION COMMISSIONERS
At 1:30 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to discuss the
Board’s 2019 Legislative direction and goals.
The Board determined that they intend to seek funding for the Airport
and Fairgrounds. There was discussion on Commissioner Wright developing
the request for the Airport funds and either Commissioner Wachsmith or
Commissioner Osiadacz developing the request for funding for the
Fairgrounds.
There was discussion on the Board supporting the I-90 project as well as
the Beverly Bridge repairs.
OTHER BUSINESS –
Commissioner Osiadacz outlined who she is reaching out to in recruiting
support for the I-90 project she has been working on.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
