JANUARY 15, 2019

Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.

Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Susan Grindle, CEO
HopeSource. She explained the history
and process for the funding and how it’s been distributed depending on
the role the County chooses to take; how it’s distributed into the
community as well as the reporting requirements. She reviewed the
impacts to County Staff if the Board chooses to take the CHG Grant vs.
if it’s left to the Department of Commerce to put out an RFQ and then
the responsibility is on whoever is awarded the Grant for the year.

John Raymond, HopeSource briefly discussed the requirements of the
County if they choose to take the funding such as an HMIS expert, SAW
Account set up and Invoice Management.

The Board determined they would not seek the Grant and allow the
Department of Commerce to release the RFP.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 a.m.

KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Chairman
