COMMISSIONERS’ MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />HR STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />TUESDAY 10:00 AM 12/11/2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Laura Osiadacz, Obie O’Brien <br />Others: Patti Johnson, Gene Dana, Clay Myers, Lisa Young, Jeanne Killgore <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 10:03 AM. <br /> <br />2. EXECUTIVE SESSION – DISCUSS NEGOTIATIONS – RCW 42.30.140 (4)(b) THAT PORTION OF A <br />MEETING DURING WHICH THE GOVERNING OBDY IS PLANNING OR ADOPTING THE STRATEGY OR <br />POSITION TO BE TAKEN BY THE GOVERNING BODY DURING THE COURSE OF ANY COLLECTIVE <br />BARGAINING, PROFESSIONAL NEGOTIATIONS, OR GRIEVANCE OR MEDIATION PROCEEDINGS, OR <br />REVIEWING THE PROPOSALS MADE IN THE NEGOTIATIONS OR PROCEEDINGS WHILE IN PROGRESS. <br />The Board entered executive session at 10:04 AM to discuss negotiations. Anticipated length: 10 <br />minutes; anticipated action: Direction to staff. Solid Waste Director Johnson, Sheriff Dana and <br />Undersheriff Myers were present to provide any input requested by HR Director Young or the Board. <br />The Board exited executive session at 10:14 AM with direction to staff to proceed as discussed. <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />HR Director Young presented the Board with minutes from 2017 and 2018 HR Study Sessions. <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve the minutes for signing. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the <br />motion.
