COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 2:00 P.M. DECEMBER 3, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman
Obie O’Brien; and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Heather Seibert,
Chief Financial Manager; Candie Leader, Administrative
Assistant; Lisa Young, Human Resource Director; Dan Carlson, CDS
Director; Jerry Pettit, Auditor; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance
Manager; Tina Rowan, Fiscal Analyst; Mike Hougardy, Assessor;
Nick Henderson, Coroner; Barb Demory, Lower District Court
Administrator; Val Barschaw, Clerk and Jim Goeben, IT Director. SPECIAL MEETING 2019 BUDGET COMMISSIONERS
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to
consider the adoption of the 2019 Budget.
JUDY PLESS, BUDGET & FINANCE MANAGER reviewed the proposed
budget for 2019. She provided a Staff Report and indicated there
was a balanced budget before the Board for their consideration.
THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
The Board members expressed their appreciation to all of the
County Departments for their hard work in this year’s budget
process. COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to approve the proposed 2019 County
Budget. COMMISISONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
It was noted the enabling documents were scheduled to be on the
December 4, 2018 Agenda at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioners
Auditorium.
