COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 9:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 6, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR
Director/Interim Event Center Director; Chris Horner, DPA & Clay
Myers, Undersheriff.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 9:04 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 15
minutes per RCW 42.30.140 to consider Collective bargaining sessions
with employee organizations, including contract negotiations,
grievance meetings, and discussions relating to the interpretation
or application of a labor agreement; or (b) that portion of a
meeting during which the governing body is planning or adopting the
strategy or position to be taken by the governing body during the
course of any collective bargaining, professional negotiations, or
grievance or mediation proceedings, or reviewing the proposals made
in the negotiations or proceedings while in progress. No action was
anticipated.
At 9:19 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action was taken.
At 9:19 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess back
into Executive Session for 5 minutes per RCW 42.30.140 to consider
Collective bargaining sessions with employee organizations,
including contract negotiations, grievance meetings, and discussions
relating to the interpretation or application of a labor agreement;
or (b) that portion of a meeting during which the governing body is
planning or adopting the strategy or position to be taken by the

At 9:24 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
Direction was given to staff to prepare documents for the Board to
consider.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:28 a.m.
