COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. OCTOBER 22, 2018
Board members present: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien & Commissioner
Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR
Director/Interim Event Center Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD EVENT CENTER
Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim Event Center Director presented the
Board with a Joint City/County Resolution for their consideration.
She explained that it would authorize signature on a transfer of
custody document for an archeological resource to the Burke Museum
of Natural History. She explained why it is joint between the County
and the City as the location of where the fossil was recovered
couldn’t easily be determined if it was County or City property, so
this will cover both entity’s.
RESOLUTION 2018-167 JOINT/RESOLUTION-CITY/COUNTY EVENT CENTER
Commissioner Wright moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-167, a
Joint Resolution of the Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg
to donate an archeological resource to the Burke Museum of Natural
History and Culture and to authorize signature on a Transfer of
Custody Document. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 2-
0.
