KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. OCTOBER 2, 2018
Board members present: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien and
Commissioner Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Clay Myers,
Undersheriff; David Houseberg, Patrol Officer; Steve Panattoni,
Patrol Sergeant, and Kay Kresge, Fiscal Analyst.
PUBLIC HEARING SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY AUDITOR
At 2:00 p.m. Vice-Chairman O’Brien opened a Public Hearing to
consider the Disposal of Surplus County Property.
KAY KRESGE, FISCAL ANALYST provided a Staff Report and
recommended the Board approve the list of items described and to
declare them surplus to the County’s needs.
CLAY MYERS, UNDERSHERIFF explained that the 2010 Snowmobile had
been donated to the Kittitas County Search & Rescue in memory of
former Sheriff Bob McBride. He said they’d like to give his son
the first opportunity to purchase it at fair market value. The
Board did not have any issues with offering it to him first.
THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF
THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
RESOLUTION 2018-155 SURPLUS COUNTY PROPERTY AUDITOR
COMMISSIONER WRIGHT moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-155,
Declare Equipment Surplus to the County. VICE-CHAIRMAN O’BRIEN
seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
