COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. OCTOBER 1, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR
Director/Interim KVEC Director; Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer & Fair
Board President: Heather Harrell.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HUMAN RESOURCES
Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim-KVEC Director presented the Board
with an amended job description for the Kittitas Valley Event Center
and then one with comments she received from Commissioner O’Brien,
noting that Commissioner Wright and Chairman Osiadacz had indicated
no issues with the proposed job description she sent out.
The Board reviewed and discussed Commissioner O’Brien’s comments.
The Board approved the Job Description as presented with
comments/clarification from Commissioner O’Brien’s feedback and also
approved the posting of the position.
Ms. Young indicated she didn’t get the work completed for her second
item on the Agenda for approved Staffing changes. She said she would
have that on her next Study Session.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
