KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. SEPTEMBER 24, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Judy Pless,
Budget & Finance Manager; Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim Event
Center Director and Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD MAINTENANCE
Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director requested the Board
consider paying for Maintenance Staff Trade License’s. Lisa Young,
HR Director/Interim Event Center Director stated that she thinks
it’s a good idea but wanted the Board to keep in mind consistency
practices Countywide.
Commissioner O’Brien moved to authorize payment of Trade Licenses
for Facilities Maintenance Staff for the 2018-2019 renewal period.
Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director wanted to confirm or
receive permission from the Board on a previous approval he received
about 2 Seasonal Employees for 6 months. He stated he wanted to make
sure that was 6 months from the start date and not until the end of
the year.
The Board agreed that it was approved for 6 months from the start
date.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
