9/24/2018 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:50 A.M. SEPTEMBER 24, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Judy Pless, <br />Budget & Finance Manager; Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim Event <br />Center Director and Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director requested the Board <br />consider paying for Maintenance Staff Trade License’s. Lisa Young, <br />HR Director/Interim Event Center Director stated that she thinks <br />it’s a good idea but wanted the Board to keep in mind consistency <br />practices Countywide. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to authorize payment of Trade Licenses <br />for Facilities Maintenance Staff for the 2018-2019 renewal period. <br />Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director wanted to confirm or <br />receive permission from the Board on a previous approval he received <br />about 2 Seasonal Employees for 6 months.
