2018‐09‐24 Minutes 1 Information Technology <br />Commissioners’ Minutes <br />Kittitas County, Washington <br />Commissioners’ Conference Room <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Monday 11:00 AM September 24, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chair Laura Osiadacz, Vice‐Chair Obie O'Brien, and Commissioner Cory Wright <br /> <br />Others: IT Director Jim Goeben <br /> <br />Regular Meeting Information Technology <br />Meeting called to order at 11:05AM. <br /> <br />Dude Solutions and Laserfiche Update <br />Mr. Goeben told the board the integration error was resolved. The only remaining issue preventing <br />SmartGov integration with Laserfiche for records management is moving the documents currently in <br />SmartGov into Laserfiche. <br /> <br />VoIP Project Update <br />Mr. Goeben told the board the contract for Ednetics Voice will be presented to the board at their <br />October 2 agenda. Commissioner O’Brien asked the project be completed by December. <br /> <br />Software Inventory <br />Mr. Goeben told the board he would like to transfer all off‐the‐shelf software into IT’s inventory so IT <br />can manage the assets throughout their lifecycle. County policy states IT is responsible for purchasing, <br />inventory, storage, and management of off‐the‐shelf software. Mr. Goeben will confer with the <br />Management Team and report back to the board. <br /> <br />Other Business <br />There was discussion about the Capital Facilities Plan. The board asked Mr. Goeben to attend the <br />Community Development Services/Public Works study session later that day. <br /> <br />Mr. Goeben updated the board that there is now a temporary county network presence for emergency <br />operations in KVFR Station 29, and he is working with Kittcom on a long‐term solution. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:50 AM. <br /> Kittitas County Commissioners <br />Information Technology Director Kittitas County, Washington <br /> <br /> <br /> _______________________________________ _______________________________________ <br />Jim Goeben, IT Director Laura Osiadacz, Chair
