COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. SEPTEMBER 17, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory
Wright. Excused: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Brett Wachsmith,
Treasurer & Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim Event Center Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HUMAN RESOURCES
Lisa Young, HR Director presented the Board with a New Position
Worksheet on behalf of the Treasurer’s Office for their Deputy
Treasurer position. She stated that there was a 70/30 split in the
funding proposed by Resolution 2018-144 so 70% would be funded
through the investment service fees being deposited to the newly
created fund and 30% by the General Fund.
Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer stated that he would like to post
internally since they have an employee currently doing the work and
has been for the past two years. He stated that they don’t plan to
back fill the Fiscal Clerk position. He stated that the proposed pay
would be at the beginning wage scale at $5,041.00.
Commissioner Wright moved to approve the position as presented.
Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
Meeting adjourned at 9:48 a.m.
