9/17/2018 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. SEPTEMBER 17, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory <br />Wright. Excused: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Brett Wachsmith, <br />Treasurer & Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim Event Center Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> <br />Lisa Young, HR Director presented the Board with a New Position <br />Worksheet on behalf of the Treasurer’s Office for their Deputy <br />Treasurer position. She stated that there was a 70/30 split in the <br />funding proposed by Resolution 2018-144 so 70% would be funded <br />through the investment service fees being deposited to the newly <br />created fund and 30% by the General Fund. <br /> <br />Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer stated that he would like to post <br />internally since they have an employee currently doing the work and <br />has been for the past two years. He stated that they don’t plan to <br />back fill the Fiscal Clerk position. He stated that the proposed pay <br />would be at the beginning wage scale at $5,041.00. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright moved to approve the position as presented. <br />Chairman Osiadacz seconded.
