COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 11:00 A.M AUGUST 28, 2018
Board members present: Laura Osiadacz, Chairman; Vice-Chairman,
Obie O’Brien; Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Kasey Knutson and Tristin Lamb with Public Health; Teri
Archer with Yakima Specialties Inc.; Sherrie Bury with Elmview; Dana
Stuart and Ariana Rhodes with Entrust.
Staff: Debbie Myers.
SPECIAL MEETING DD QUARTERLY UPDATE PUBLIC HEALTH
At 11:03 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special meeting to discuss
the Developmental Disabilities Program Update and initiated
introductions.
PARTNER/PROVIDER PRESENTATIONS ELMVIEW
Sherrie Bury with Elmview provided a film clip of residents working
at their job sites, for review. She gave an update on the residents
and their job placements.
COUNTY CORDINATOR UPDATE PUBLIC HEALTH
Kasey Knutson with Public Health gave an update on the County
Coordinator programs, and provided documents. There was discussion
on funds for the DD program and Administration; and the latest RFP.
DD BUDGET PUBLIC HEALTH
There was discussion on: scoring the grant applications; if there
were any gaps; types of programs; and requirements to qualify for
services.
OTHER BUSINESS
The meeting was adjourned at 9:59 a.m.
