AUGUST 20, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz, Chairman; Vice- <br />Chairman Obie O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Jim Jones, <br />Assistant Audit Manager; Jerry Pettit, Auditor; Judy Pless, <br />Budget & Finance Manager. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING STATE AUDITOR ENTRANCE CONFERENCE AUDITOR <br /> <br />At 9:30 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting for an <br />entrance conference with representatives from the Washington <br />State Auditor’s office. <br /> <br />Jim Jones, Assistant Audit Manager presented the Board with a <br />handout and reviewed the audit scope, engagement letter (to be <br />signed on 8/27/18 Office Admin Meeting), & levels of reporting; <br />Important Information: regarding confidential information, audit <br />costs $68,098.00, plus estimated charges for travel time of <br />$1,902.00, travel costs and other expenses, if any; expected <br />communications; audit dispute process; loss reporting & peer <br />reviews, emerging issues & financial reporting for investment <br />trust funds. <br /> <br />He stated that for their Federal review they plan to test the <br />National Dam Safety Program and briefed the Board on other up- <br />coming meetings they would like to have to discuss the Financial <br />Audit and the Accountability Audit. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Laura Osiadacz, Chairman
