COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. AUGUST 27, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Dan Carlson, CDS
Director; Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; and 6
members of the public.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD PUBLIC WORKS
Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer provided a report
on the Palomino Fields Plat. He said he had to make an
administrative decision last Friday relating to access to Palomino
Fields Plat.
He reviewed the County’s current review process and said they will
be looking into correcting the way it’s being performed between the
Department of Public Works, Community Development Services, and the
Building Department. Commissioner O’Brien felt the goal was to have
all of the documents for permits loaded into SmartGov to allow
everyone to view the same information at any time.
Commissioner O’Brien moved to accept Mr. Cook’s decision made last
Friday relating to the access on Palomino Fields Plat. Commissioner
Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
