COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. AUGUST 6, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR
Director/Interim Event Center Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HR/MAINT./KVEC
Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim Event Center Director presented the
Board with two Professional Service Agreements for consideration on
behalf of Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director. She stated that
Mr. Egan was on a project and offered to bring forward the
Agreements to help him out. She stated that the two Agreements
before them were for Bell Electric/Jason Bell for Emergency Repairs
at the Event Center, noting that the Board has previously declared
an emergency in Resolution 2018-114. The second is from McKinstry
Co., LLC for the Installation of a Water Line to the Gold Buckle
Club. She noted that they had a Special Meeting on Thursday August
2, 2018 awarding the bid to McKinstry Co., LLC and this was just a
formality in the process to get the work done.
AGREEMENT BELL ELECTRIC/J.BELL EVENT CENTER
Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve and authorize Board signature
on a Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and
Bell Electric/Jason Bell, for emergency repairs at the Kittitas
Valley Event Center, in an amount not to exceed $8,915.71.
Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
AGREEMENT McKINSTRY CO.,LLC EVENT CENTER
Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve and authorize Board signature
on a Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and
McKinstry Co., LLC, for installation of a water line to the Gold
Buckle Club, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00. Commissioner
Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
