KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 10:10 A.M. JULY 30, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook,
Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer; Sara Folk,
Engineering Services Manager.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD PUBLIC WORKS
Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer presented
the Board with two Resolutions for consideration. One to Authorize
the Director of Public Works to Authorize a Notice of Call For Bids
for the Kittitas County 2018 Safety Improvements Project and the
second to Award the University Way Bridge #88341 Repair Project and
Authorize the Director of Public Works to sign said Contract
documents. The Board asked questions relating to time-line and cost.
RESOLUTION 2018-117 2018 SAFETY IMPROV. PROJ PUBLIC WORKS
Commissioner O’Brien moved to authorize & approve Board signature on
Resolution No. 2018-117, Authorizing the Director of Public Works to
Authorize a Notice of Call for Bids for the Kittitas County 2018
Safety Improvements Project. Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion
carried 3-0.
RESOLUTION 2018-118 UNIVERSITY WAY BRIDGE PUBLIC WORKS
Commissioner Wright moved to authorize & approve Board signature on
Resolution No. 2018-118, Awarding the University Way Bridge #88341
Repair Project and Authorize the Director of Public Works to Sign
Said Contract Documents. Commissioner O’Brien seconded. Motion
carried 3-0.
