JUNE 28, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz (arrived at 12:15 <br />p.m.); Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien and Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXIT BRIEFING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 12:00 p.m. Vice-Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting for <br />an exit briefing with Commissioner Jewell. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT TREAT WATER RIGHTS – AMENDMENT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve the First Amendment to <br />Water Rights Purchase and Sale Agreement between Kittitas County <br />and James and Hazel Treat. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded. <br />Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />Chairman Osiadacz arrived at the meeting at 12:15 p.m. <br /> <br />AGREEMENTS TOURISMPROG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve four Agreements for <br />Tourism-Related Large Scale Municipality-Owned Capital Projects <br />Grant Program (TourismProg) between: Kittitas County and the <br />Kittitas Valley Event Center for the Ellensburg Rodeo Arena <br />Upgrade projects; Kittitas County and the Kittitas Valley Event <br />Center for the Event Center Barns and Bloom Pavilion project; <br />Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg for Way Finding <br />Sign’s project; and Kittitas County and City of Ellensburg for a <br />Visitor Information Center. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />UPDATE PROJECTS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell provided an update to the Board on projects <br />he had been working on as his last day with Kittitas County is <br />June 30, 2018 including the transfer station; Lodging Tax <br />Advisory Committee projects; River Access Plan Committee; EFSEC <br />comments that need to be submitted before the deadline relating
