COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 10:00 A.M. JUNE 4, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson,
Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager; Lisa Young HR
Director/Co-Interim Event Center Director; Judy Pless, Budget and
Finance Manager.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SOLID WASTE
Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager
presented the Board with a PAF for Holly Martin, Scale House
Attendent changing her status from “on-call” to “limited part time”,
Ms. Johnson noted that this will actually limit the hours to 19 a
week for Ms. Martin.
The Board signed the PAF as presented.
Ms. Johnson requested and update from the Board on the status of the
loan repayment that the General Fund borrowed from Solid Waste. She
stated that if they move forward with a property purchase she will
need to know if the funds are going to be borrowed or if they will
be paid back and she can use the funds they already have.
Ms. Pless said the funds were borrowed for the Ameresco project and
the balance is $1,093,084.92.
The Board directed Ms. Pless to authorize the payback.
