COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 10:00 A.M. MAY 31, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie
O’Brien. Excused: Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 10:04 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 20
minutes to evaluate the qualifications of a candidate for
appointment to elective office. However, any interview of such
candidate and final action appointing a candidate to elective office
shall be in a meeting open to the public. No action was anticipated.
At 10:24 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
At 10:24 a.m. the Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess
back into Executive Session for 5 minutes to evaluate the
qualifications of a candidate for appointment to elective office.
However, any interview of such candidate and final action appointing
a candidate to elective office shall be in a meeting open to the
public. No action was anticipated.
At 10:29 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. Staff
was directed to set a Special Meeting for 7/2/2018 @ 7:00 p.m. in
the BoCC Auditorium to consider the Republican Party recommendations
for appointment of the BoCC District #1 Representative.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:29 a.m.
