COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. APRIL 30, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien. Excused: Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson,
Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager & Tim Egan,
Assistant Maintenance Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD MAINTENANCE
Tim Egan, Assistant Maintenance Director presented the Board with an
updated proposal for the Probation door at the Morris Sorenson
Building. He stated that it’s a solid steel door with a frame and
panic bar. It was reviewed by Mike Flory, Building Official and Pat
Gigstead of Misdemeanant Probation is satisfied. He stated it
shouldn’t be more than $1,000.00 by the time it’s installed as the
door is $679.00.
The Board authorized up to $1,000.00 to be spent on the steel door
for Misdemeanant Probation. Commissioner O’Brien stated that he
hates to keep seeing more money being put into the building but the
proposal is far better than what they were initially informed of and
it has to be done.
