COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 10:00 A.M. APRIL 23, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook,
Public Works Director
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD PUBLIC WORKS
Mark Cook, Public Works Director presented the Board with two
Resolutions for the Board to consider.
RESOLUTION 2018-066 COUNTY ENGINEER PUBLIC WORKS
Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-066,
designating an interim acting County Engineer, not to exceed six
months (5/2018 through 11/2018), as presented. Commissioner Jewell
seconded. Director Cook stated that they would prepare a letter to
send to CRAB and signed by the Chair notifying them of the change at
the next Agenda Session. Motion carried 3-0.
RESOLUTION 2018-067 HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN PUBLIC WORKS
Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-067,
awarding the 2018 Hazard Mitigation plan/community system rating
plan update to Dewberry, as presented. Commissioner Jewell
seconded. Commissioner O’Brien stated that this is the most
qualified company to do the update and the County has to do the
update so he felt this is the best way to proceed. Motion carried 3-
0.
