3/26/2018 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. MARCH 26, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Jill Scheffer, <br />Event Center Director & Jessika Roe, STOP and CPC Coordinator <br />(KCCN). <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Jessika Roe, STOP & CPC Coordinator requested the Board consider <br />allowing the Kittitas County Community Network to use the Manastash <br />Room at the Event Center on June 21, 2018. She stated that the event <br />is for 5th, 6th, & 7th graders and it’s for a “resiliency program” <br />that the KCCN puts on. <br /> <br />There was discussion on the benefits to the kids (they are nominated <br />by their teachers) and the rooms that could accommodate the amount <br />of adults and kids that attend the one day event. There was <br />discussion on whether or not the old Fair office could accommodate <br />the needs of the groups since there is a great deal of time spent <br />outside doing activities. <br /> <br />The Board indicated they were in support of the event, and directed <br />Ms. Scheffer to look at the calendar and see what options there were <br />for the event to be held. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />
