COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM
SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 1:00 P.M. MARCH 7, 2018
Board members present: Chairman, Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner Paul
Jewell. Absent: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Jill
Scheffer, Event Center Director; Ellensburg Rodeo Board Members:
Jerry Jensen & Dan Morgan and one member of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING ERB - RESOLUTION EVENT CENTER
At 1:00 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting to consider
a Resolution authorizing the Ellensburg Rodeo Association to
complete requested improvement projects.
Jerry Jensen, Ellensburg Rodeo Board (ERB) President presented a
drawing to show where the ERB was planning to add another score
board. He stated that the last meeting where the Resolution was
brought forward the outcome was asking the ERB to come in and show
where the Board will be and what it would look like. He stated if
this is approved they hope to have it completed by the end of the
year.
RESOLUTION 2018-046 SCORE BOARD – ERB EVENT CENTER
Commissioner Jewell moved to approve Resolution 2018-046,
authorizing the Ellensburg Rodeo Association to Complete Requested
Improvement Projects. Chairman Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-
0.
OTHER BUSINESS-
Jill Scheffer, Event Center Director briefed the Board on some
staffing changes she was planning to bring forward.
Meeting adjourned at 1:10 p.m.
