COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. FEBRUARY 12, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Tim Egan,
Assistant Maintenance Director & Patti Johnson, Solid
Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD MAINTENANCE
Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager
requested the Board authorize two Maintenance Staff to attend
training in San Antonio, Texas for training on the Southern Folger
Locks in the Jail. The Board questioned what the cost was and if it
was budgeted for. Ms. Johnson stated that after talking to Judy
Pless, Budget & Finance Manager it was determined that the 1/10th
Fund could pay for it and that it would cost approximately $5,366.00
for flight, rental car, hotel and meals.
TRAINING SOUTHERN FOLGER MAINTENANCE
The Board authorized Ms. Johnson’s request to send two Maintenance
Staff employees (Tim Egan & Don Pedersen) to San Antonio Texas for
training on the Southern Folger Jail locks system, noting the
training would be paid for from the 1/10th Fund.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
