2/12/2018 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:50 A.M. FEBRUARY 12, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Tim Egan, <br />Assistant Maintenance Director & Patti Johnson, Solid <br />Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager <br />requested the Board authorize two Maintenance Staff to attend <br />training in San Antonio, Texas for training on the Southern Folger <br />Locks in the Jail. The Board questioned what the cost was and if it <br />was budgeted for. Ms. Johnson stated that after talking to Judy <br />Pless, Budget & Finance Manager it was determined that the 1/10th <br />Fund could pay for it and that it would cost approximately $5,366.00 <br />for flight, rental car, hotel and meals. <br /> <br />TRAINING SOUTHERN FOLGER MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />The Board authorized Ms. Johnson’s request to send two Maintenance <br />Staff employees (Tim Egan & Don Pedersen) to San Antonio Texas for <br />training on the Southern Folger Jail locks system, noting the <br />training would be paid for from the 1/10th Fund. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />
