KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
FRIDAY 1:00 P.M. FEBRUARY 9, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie
O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, DPW
Director; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 1:00 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 10
minutes to consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of
real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding
such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. No
action was anticipated.
At 1:10 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
At 1:10 p.m. Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess back
into Executive Session for 10 minutes to consider the selection of a
site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when
public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a
likelihood of increased price. No action was anticipated.
At 1:20 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. Chairman
Osiadacz was directed to prepare a letter for Board signature
rejecting the proposal.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:20 p.m.
