Kittitas County, Washington  <br />IT Study Session Minutes  <br />BOCC Conference Room, 205 West 5th Room 108, Ellensburg  <br />Wednesday  11:08 AM  December 13, 2017  <br />  <br />Board members present: Vice‐Chair Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner Obie O'Brien  <br />Board members absent: Chair Paul Jewell  <br />Others: Jim Goeben, IT Director; Doug Fessler, Network Administrator; Lisa Young, HR Director  <br />  <br />Call to Order: 11:00 AM  <br />  <br />Interlocal Agreement with the City of Kittitas for the Production of Employee ID Cards  <br />Ms. Young asked the board to sign an Interlocal agreement with the City of Kittitas for the production of  <br />employee ID cards.  <br />   <br />Board direction: The board signed the agreement.  <br />  <br />Phone System RFP Considerations  <br />Mr. Goeben and Mr. Fessler presented information on IP phone technology. There was discussion about  <br />how different implementations of an IP phone system would affect county phone numbers. They  <br />presented a cost proposal from Ednetics based off state contract pricing and asked if the board wished  <br />to purchase off the contract or proceed with the Request for Proposal process.  <br />  <br />Board direction: The board asked Mr. Goeben to proceed with the Request for Proposal process.  <br />  <br />Records Management Policy Regarding Records Organization  <br />Discussion was postponed.   <br />  <br />Adjourned: 11:20 AM  <br />  KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS  <br />  KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON  <br />  <br />  <br /> _______________________________________    _____________________________________    <br />Jim Goeben, IT Director  Paul Jewell, Chair
