CDS STUDY SESSION MINUTES
July 10, 2017
THOSE PRESENT: Laura Osiadacz, Paul Jewell (BOCC) Dan Carlson, Mike Flory, Stephanie Mifflin (CDS)
Mark Cook, Luke Huck, Candie Leader (PW)
GUESTS PRESENT: About 15 individuals from the public (all individuals were present for the Public Works
study session).
Coal• Machine Discussion:
Dan stated that at the previous study session, Community Development Services (CDS) brought a contract renewal from
United Business Machines, who is the current copy machine lease holder with CDS, for approval by the Board. At that
meeting, the Board requested that CDS look at the State bid list for other contracts. Dan stated after exploring all options,
CDS would like to go with Abadan instead of UBM. Dan stated he does not have a contract for the Board at this time, but
with their approval would like to start that process with Abadan.
Board Direction: Bring lease from Abadan.
