DECEMBER 8, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz; and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Gene Dana, Sheriff; <br />Heather Seibert, Chief Financial Manager; Jerry Pettit, Auditor; <br />Lisa Lawrence, Solid Waste Assistant Director; Lucas Huck, Engineer; <br />Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; <br />Sarah Keith, Superior Court Administrator; Elishia Harvill, Office <br />Administrator; and Lisa Young, Human Resource Director. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING 2018 BUDGET AUDITOR <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN JEWELL opened a Public Hearing continued from <br />December 4, 2017 to consider adopting the 2018 Kittitas County <br />Budget. <br /> <br />JUDY PLESS, BUDGET & FINANCE MANAGER provided an update and reviewed <br />proposed Resolutions relating to adopting the 2018 budget. She <br />indicated all the budgets are balanced. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE <br />HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2017-184 ANNUAL CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM AUDITOR <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2017-184, <br />Adopting an Annual Construction Program for 2018. COMMISSIONER <br />O’BRIEN seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2017-185 GENERAL TAX LEVY AUDITOR <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2017-185, <br />Levying Taxes for the General Tax Levy for Municipal Purposes of <br />Kittitas County, Washington for the Year 2018, According to the <br />Assessed Valuation as Determined in the Year 2017. COMMISSIONER <br />O’BRIEN seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2017-186 COUNTY ROAD LEVY AUDITOR <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2017-186, <br />Levying Taxes for the County Road for Municipal Purposes of Kittitas <br />County, Washington for the Year 2018 According to the Assessed
