COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM
SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 2:00 P.M. DECEMBER 4, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz; and Commissioner Obie O’Brien.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Gene Dana, Sheriff;
Heather Seibert, Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Jerry Pettit, Auditor;
Nick Henderson, Coroner; Lisa Young, Human Resource Director; Tip
Hudson, Extension Agent; Lucas Huck, Engineer; Jim Goeben, IT
Director; and Pat Gigstead, Chief Probation Officer.
PUBLIC HEARING 2018 BUDGET AUDITOR
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN JEWELL opened a Public Hearing to consider
adopting the 2018 Kittitas County Budget.
JUDY PLESS, BUDGET & FINANCE MANAGER provided a Staff Report and
reviewed the proposed 2018 County Budget. She went over budget
amounts from property taxes; Flood Control Zone Levy; and County
Road. She recommended continuing the Public Hearing until 2:00 p.m.
on Friday December 8, 2017 to allow for her to prepare enabling
documents.
THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE
HEARING WAS CLOSED.
COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to continue the Public Hearing until
Friday December 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioner’s
Auditorium, noting the record to remain open for public testimony.
COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:09 p.m.
