SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 9:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 9, 2017
Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz & Commissioner Obie O’Brien.

SPECIAL MEETING 2018 BUDGET COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to discuss the
2018 draft budget.
He said the general fund was out of balance by approximately $3.9
million dollars. There was discussion on some additional revenues
which still needed to be added into the total. The Board reviewed
various projects requested by departments which totaled $1.4 million
above the regular costs.
The Board directed Staff to go back and review their budgets to see
if they can provide any additional cuts and to notify Judy Pless no
later than Tuesday November 14th in the morning in order to help
bring the deficit down to zero so there is a balanced budget. Staff
was also directed to notify Judy Pless if they had any additional
revenue as well.
Meeting adjourned at 9:33 a.m.
