OCTOBER 31, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz; and <br />Commissioner Obie O’Brien. Excused: Chairman Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Patti Johnson, Solid <br />Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager; and Neil Caulkins, <br />Deputy Prosecutor. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING RIVERS EDGE SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />At approximately 1:35 p.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special <br />Meeting to consider a Professional Services Agreement with Rivers <br />Edge. <br /> <br />Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance/Project Manager, presented a <br />Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and Rivers <br />Edge. She said the Agreement was for the removal of 22 mobile homes <br />located at Shady Brook Mobile Home Park. Ms. Johnson stated there <br />were 3 bids received and that Rivers Edge was the lowest in the <br />amount of $100,097.00 plus tax. She said they intend on holding a <br />pre-project meeting with neighbors so they are aware of the work <br />that will be taking place and what to expect. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT RIVERS EDGE SOLID WASTE <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve a Professional Services <br />Agreement between Kittitas County and Rivers Edge, in the amount of <br />$100,097.00 plus tax, for the removal of 22 mobile homes located at <br />the Shady Brook Mobile Home Park.
