COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 1:30 P.M. OCTOBER 31, 2017
Board members present: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz; and
Commissioner Obie O’Brien. Excused: Chairman Paul Jewell.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Patti Johnson, Solid
Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager; and Neil Caulkins,
Deputy Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING RIVERS EDGE SOLID WASTE
At approximately 1:35 p.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special
Meeting to consider a Professional Services Agreement with Rivers
Edge.
Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance/Project Manager, presented a
Professional Services Agreement between Kittitas County and Rivers
Edge. She said the Agreement was for the removal of 22 mobile homes
located at Shady Brook Mobile Home Park. Ms. Johnson stated there
were 3 bids received and that Rivers Edge was the lowest in the
amount of $100,097.00 plus tax. She said they intend on holding a
pre-project meeting with neighbors so they are aware of the work
that will be taking place and what to expect.
AGREEMENT RIVERS EDGE SOLID WASTE
Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve a Professional Services
Agreement between Kittitas County and Rivers Edge, in the amount of
$100,097.00 plus tax, for the removal of 22 mobile homes located at
the Shady Brook Mobile Home Park. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz seconded.
Motion carried 2-0.
Meeting adjourned at 1:40 p.m.
