OCTOBER 09, 2017

Board members present: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner
Obie O’Brien. She asked how she should
go about getting items fixed on the list. She noted there is also a
Ford Escape that is not drivable and they need to get rid of it. She
stated that the costs involved with getting it safe to use are more
than the vehicle is worth and nobody drives it any longer. The Board
directed Ms. Scheffer to do a budget amendment for the Board to
consider and bring a complete list of items needing to be fixed.
Commissioner O’Brien asked Ms. Scheffer to do a count of vehicles to
see what’s worth keeping and what’s not. Commissioner O’Brien asked
Ms. Scheffer to get the bounce house insured & rent it or get it
removed from inventory.

Jerry Lael, Fair Board Director expressed his desire to clean up the
parking lots used during Labor Day weekend, and wanted to know what
the process was to get that going. He stated he felt most of the
work could get “dontated” by Rotary. He stated he would like to get
the fence painted and put logos on it for Rotary, Kiwanis, ERB,
etc., and has some funds in his budget for paint. Ms. Scheffer
indicated that she was not excited about any consideration going
towards removing healthy trees.

The Board asked Ms. Scheffer to get a complete plan together and
bring it back for the Board to consider.

Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.

KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
